How SARGIA Partners’ Leadership Brand Alignment program helped a recently appointed CEO to infuse to his Leadership Team his Leadership Brand vision, values and culture
Kostantinos Nebis, after a distinguished career in the leading Greek Telecommunications Provider, was appointed as a CEO of HRVATSKI Telekom, the Leading Croatian Telecommunication Organization, member of the DEUTCHE Telekom Communications Group. The challenge was big and multidimensional for the recently appointed CEO, as he had to simultaneously respond to the increased complexity of his new role, a challenging relocation, a different leadership culture and a new leadership team. He was therefore seeking for a trustworthy and reliable partner who would support him in assessing the current team culture and dynamics, infuse a more democratic leadership style and align his leadership team with his future vision, values and standards for the organization.
His aim was to inspire and establish a culture of trust within the organization, based on an engaging collaboration scheme and a meaningful brand value system that would reflect the company’s significance and impact, not only for its employees but for the broader society as well.
Having previously experienced SARGIA Partners Leadership Coaching and Leadership Team Alignment programs, Kostas Nebis decided to invest on a collaboration with proven effectiveness and success, choosing SARGIA Partners Leadership Brand Alignment to lead his organization towards his future vision.
SARGIA Partners’ Leadership Brand Alignment program unfolded on stages with a total duration of 7 months and was customized to address and respond to the specific challenges and future aspirations of the new CEO and the Leadership Team of HRVATSKI TELEKOM.
The program was initiated by Individual and Team Assessments, with the aim to map and analyze the current individual and team collaboration dynamics. Each Leadership Team member had the opportunity to further discuss his assessment with an experience Leadership Coach, during a series of one-to-one Awareness Sessions. This process enabled the Leadership Team’s members to express their challenges, concerns and expectations and increase their awareness of their individual and collective strengths and shortfalls.
Upon completion of the awareness sessions, a 2day Workshop was conducted, aiming to inspire and empower the members of the Leadership Team to visualize and embrace a shared meaning and understanding of a strong leadership brand, that would boost their engagement and collaboration towards the future vision. During the course of the Workshop the team members had the opportunity to realize and discuss their strengths and weaknesses, offer and receive productive feedback and improve their personal and interpersonal communication effectiveness. At the end of this workshop, the team was able to define a shared team identity, develop shared personal and team expectations for the future and commit with accountability to the mindset and communication shifts that would safeguard the success of their Leadership Brand.
5 months later, a recalibration session was conducted to track the progress of the team and a second team assessment was run to evaluate perceptional shifts. Based on the outcomes, the Leadership Brand Alignment Program of SARGIA Partners was resumed with success.
The Team Assessment conducted during the recalibration session, already indicated a positive shift of mindsets and behaviors. The shared understanding of a team Identity was strengthened by 20% and an empathetic and productive communication culture was established. The Leadership Team Members acknowledged their personal and team progress and the Return on Expectation was high. and the Leadership Team was now ready to work together and drive the organization forward. They managed to create a team atmosphere that would genuinely represent the brand and value of the company.
The members of the Leadership Team, became true ambassadors of their shared Leadership Brand and aligned to a common purpose and value system that would enable them to thrive and excel in a business sector under rapid Transformation.
