Between 2001 and 2010, Carl was the principal Leadership programme designer for the Metropolitan Police Service in London. His success at designing practical, transformational learning experiences, supported by qualified and regarded leadership coaches changed the way Police leadership development has been delivered to over 15,000 people across the United Kingdom.
As a founder member of the Metropolitan Police Leadership Academy Carl was responsible for the design of the learning environment and values based transformational leadership programmes, staff training and selection. With his passion for creating the ‘delegate experience’, knowledge of current leadership thinking and eye for detail, he created a programme that influenced and inspired tangible and sustainable cultural change. Carl received the prestigious Queens Award for Innovation in Police Training.
As a qualified performance coach (Dip, Newcastle College, England), Carl works with clients to establish direction and purpose that will lead to better performance, both in work and in life. In 2007, he was instrumental in the creation of an internal coaching programme, becoming the first Policing organisation to be accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
Since 2012 Carl relocated with his family to Greece and now brings his wealth of experience and knowledge of leadership development to SARGIA Partners.
